Who has married their high school sweetheart?

My boyfriend and I are both juniors in high school and have been dating for almost nine months now. I’ve dated a couple other boys, but they haven’t worked out. Will is my first love. I can’t picture my future without him. I’ve read all the statistics about high school relationships not working out, and I’ve seen many people get their hearts broken (myself included). I’m just wondering how many people have actually married their high school sweetheart. Please give me hope for the future!

My wife and I met our junior year of high school ( both 16). That summer we began dating. 18+ years ago. WE dated 4 years before I proposed and we were engaged for 2 more years before marriage (Dated a total of 6 years). We have been married now for 12+ years and I am Happy and will be perfectly content to ride out the rest of my life with her. We still are playful with each other like kids most of the time but we know when to be serious and responsable at the times we need to be.

Yes! their is going to be hard times. I promise you that! It is a part of life. But remember that it is the hard times that makes a relationship strong if the 2 are willing to endure it. Hard time will come, the question is will you let it break you or will you allow it to build you! Anyone can stick together when times are great. That is not a test. But when you both have endured a rough patch, you’ll have a special bond that only you to share for you both went through it together! That is how to beat the odds!!!!!!!

What’s a good age range for a 25 year old male until it starts getting weird?

I guess all the answers here are good for average people.
I’m 25 myself, and sometimes have crushes on the more mature 15-16 year olds, but also on 40-45 year olds who are in good shape. Ideally I’d want someone 22-24, but if somehow I became involved with a 16 year old that I thought wasn’t going to change rapidly over the next few years, I would date her (if her parents consented of course). They say age is just a number, and most of the 19-22 year old girls I know want MUCH older men, like 35-45, so I guess that means I have to start younger, although I think 99% of girls that young aren’t mature enough.

I am just curious if this is a worldwide thing. I am in an interracial relationship and I am living in America. It seems that a lot of people in America disagree with interracial dating for some reason. I was just wondering if other countries were as bad as America is?

Um…. other countries are far worse than america. Any country in Africa pretty much, especially if its a muslim country. In certain Asian countries. Even Japan…. there its a novelty and people won’t tell you of their disapproval to your face, they’ll just treat you different.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to research dating statistics, for example, the number of how many Australian men and women use online dating services etc…every time i look it up in google about a million dating websites pop up and it becomes too hard to find what i want!!! pleeease help!

It’s actually an aggregator of wine retailers (and more, but I won’t get into it)–the catch is that you can only check out Steven Tanzer’s reviews if one of their wine retailers has the wine in stock. Not sure how broad ST’s reviews go, but he seems to cover a lot of US and French wines. They have supplemental reviews by other another rater called CGCW.

Why has Y A not updated the Top Answerer statistics since July 2008? How can we get them to address this?

Why do they continue to have that “Top Answerer” section at the top o the page if they are not going to update the info? The info is way out of date and if they do not intend to put correct info there, why put old, inaccurate info there?

I have to agree with you.
Statistics is one area that does not appear to be a priority for Yahoo.

The only thing I can suggest is visiting the Forum and leaving a suggestion.
Staff will make a comment if it gets enough attention.
But I also know this has been asked before on more than one occasion!
