healthy relationship dating

How much contact is normal in a healthy dating relationship?
I am in my mid-20s and am trying to figure out how to be in a healthy relationship. I have had serious relationships where I was living with and seeing my SO every day. But several of these situations were emotionally abusive, devastating to my mental health, and have warped my idea of how a good relationship should be.
In general I prefer some contact every day (an email or phone call is fine) and seeing them at least briefly 2-4 times a week. Is this a normal/reasonable amount of contact?
After a few days or no contact I become neurotic that they are mad at and are avoiding me to the point where I am unable to function normally. I know this shows anxiety problems but any ideas on how to calm my fears of rejection would be great.
How can I tell if I am contacting someone too much (and being overwhelming) or too little (and seeming to ignore them)?
Should I share these concerns with my partner (and if so how and how long after I start dating them)?
Thanks!
Everyone is different and has different needs. It’s really hard to describe “normal” since it’s not the same with everyone.
So next time you date a few times and feel it’s moving forward, talk to the other person about it and figure out what works for the two of you.
Good luck!

Is it better to be upfront about divorce and child when dating?
My divorce is almost final. I am dating again. I did meet someone new recently. We exchanged numbers. I have not gone on a date yet but he has texted me and I am hoping he calls to ask me out. I know I should tell him that I am divorced with a litte boy. When is the best time?
Men and women, without children, should avoid divorced and single parents, because of the problems and high failure rate of such relationships. There’s plenty of time in the world to let the children grow up, than date. Dedicate your time to the children, so yes, tell them so that they have an early chance to run.

Dating tips, and how to keep a man interested!?
I have really bad luck dating, I only ever meet men who just want sex and it has become rather dull. I have met a couple of nice guys and would like something to develop with one of them, how do I keep them interested?
I am not a teenager (30) I am just really disillushioned with the dating game.
Playing those games like the first person suggests is a great way to get a guy interested, the problem is, if you find someone like me, I’ll be interested, but I get fed up with all those games extremely quickly…
first, just don’t have sex to begin with. if you have sex befor you know you like the real person underneath, then the whole relationship will be about sex.
Next, just get to know a guy… Sex will come later…
oh, and have fun, and be yourself.

Do you have any tips for dating someone who just got out of prison?
Ok Paris is out of jail. what can we learn from her? I want tips for dating a man or a woman who just got out of prison.
Ok . . . your answers could be serious or they could be funny. Paris Hilton inspired this thought.
•Instead of taking her back to a cheap hotel . . . take her to a “conjugal trailer.” -
•To get her in the mood, instead of watching porn . . . watch the “Shawshank Redemption.”
•Make her prison number . . . her pet name.
•When things get hot and heavy yell out “Who’s your Warden? Who’s your Warden?” -
•Buy her some nice new clothes . . . just don’t buy anything orange.
No tips here, just a question of my own. WHY would you want to date someone who just got out of prison?

Me and My BF are in a Christian relationship, dating 4 months now. What should I get him for Valentine’s Day?
Basically what I’m doing is that I’m giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } I’m doing all this stuff because Valentine’s is our first anniversary. ♥
Well, I found this great website that has a lot of ideas that people sent in. A lot of great ideas… cheap, creative, sweet. So if you need ideas, here ya go:

What types of men I should be dating?
I have lots of loss from my childhood and now as adult.
My childhood lived in another country to have my grandma to take care of me when my mother was single . Actually, I never had father figure in my life. Anyway, I had many surgeries due to my birth defects. I went back home and stayed with my mom and my stepfather. I stayed with them for five and I was taken by ward of court because I physically abused. I lost them because they died of medical conditions when I was in the twenties. I bloomed into beautiful woman with good hearted. I have friends but most of them are married some are raising their families I dated men but seem not be serious with me. I am grateful for their friendship.. I had dysfuntional relationships in households. I moved to differenct places time to time. I don’t know if I have someone can understand my background. I get insecure with men in certain times and places.
You should continue dating the one that takes the time to care to hear your history. The one that listens to you. The one that doesn’t see your past as boulder blocking the path, but a mere peeble in the road. When you find this special man that will love and nuture you, you will know. You will finally feel safe and loved. You will feel confident and secure. Don’t let this guy slip away…he will be worth dating!
Communication is the key…without it any relationship will not work out. If you get insecure at times maybe you need to talk it out??!
Hope this helps! Good Luck.

Dating Red Flags: What are some of the most popular ones?
I’m writing an article on dating red flags and would like to know what dating red flags you’ve experienced or heard about from your friends.
lets see red flags:
If he only wants to talk to you when he calls you.
If he wants to stay at your home with you.
If he doesn’t want anyone to know about you.
If he just wants to have sex with you.
If you see him in public somewhere and he acts as if he
doesn’t know you.
If you never go anywhere with him.
He never gives his home phone number to you.
He doesn’t want a relationship.
He hasn’t gotten over his ex.
He is hoping he and his ex get back together.

biblical dating guidelines

What are biblical guidelines for dating, courting, adultry and love children?
Ezekiel 23
1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
3 and they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.
4 And the names of them were Aho’lah the elder, and Ahol’ibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aho’lah, and Jerusalem Ahol’ibah.
5 And Aho’lah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbors,
6 which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.
7 Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.
8 Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and
I don’t think there are really many guidelines .
Women are to stay a virgin till marriage & men can sleep with whom ever they wish, so long as it’s not another mans property (including the father of the woman/girl, which in some cases he can just pay him off).
