How do you know when your relationship changes from dating to boyfriend/girlfriend?

I’ve been dating a guy at my school for a month now & we’re really good together (we were friends for a long time first)
I was just wondering when you know that your now boyfriend/girlfriend instead of just dating.
I don’t feel like I should ask him & don’t feel as if he’s “mine”… but I don’t want him to be dating other girls….

People worry about the label too much.

If you are seeing each other frequently and having a great time who cares if you have the label? From everything he does and says does he give you the feeling he is monogamous? He most likely does so just chill out. If it bugs you that much then you have to just ask him flat out or simply say “I want you to be my boyfriend.”
