What if you were dating a movie star?

What if you were dating a movie star… would they expect a lot from you (assuming you were poor)? Like have a nice car, an elegant house or mansion, take them to an exclusive restaurants?

I wouldn’t want to date a movie star or famous person because that’s not me. The glamor life with all the media scandals, divorces, bankruptcy, suing, and all the pressure I wouldn’t be able to handle, and neither would the movie star I’m dating. Life looks good on television, but is terrible in reality. Just because you have the credit for dating someone famous won’t make you the ruler of the world. I’d rather live humble and decent.

My friend was just asked out by this guy that she is sort-of friends with. She doesn’t want to go on a date with him, so she would feel more comfortable if it was more of a group outing than a one on one date. They had previously agreed to see a movie. How can she invite others (or ask him to do so) without making the situation awkward or hurting his feelings?
