basically, she would tell them what she was looking for because they ask you and she told them things like i dont want to date people that live past the city which is about 25 minutes from where we live. because i mean why would you want to meet someone who lives 2 hours away from you? thats obviously not ideal. anyways, they would send her out on dates with people that lived far away and she would complain to them saying you’re not listening to the things Im asking for and then theyd do it again.

I’ve always thought that exclusive dating meant that you’re boyfriend and girlfriend. But he referred to me as his “friend” to one of his guy friends.

He’s not ready to go steady. If I were to read in between the lines… he likes the idea of you not dating anyone else, yet for himself he doesn’t want to be tied down. If he were to address you to his friends as his “girlfriend” then that would mean he’s no longer on the prowl and going out with the guy’s to go checking out girls would be frowned on by his peers.

It means - don’t worry about it. Being “in a relationship” is pointless if you rush into it. Remember the saying “fools rush in”?
