i am dating a rich and influential man at the moment and he keeps calling or sms telling me he is meeting a big wig somewhere or he is in a classy hotel.
he says i am pretty and when i tell him i do not think so he tells me i should believe because an influential guy like him has told me…….please help what is the meaning of his bragging ways towards a simple mary like me.( he knows i am simple and i do not try to behave sophisticated

He could think you’re only with him because of his position, in which case he’s just reminding you that you want him.

It could be because he doesnt know what else to say, or maybe he just likes keeping you informed so you can talk about it later if you want to.

Maybe he is just totally up his own *rse. In which case, what do you want from him?

Sweetie - if he has told you he will not leave his wife, regardless of the reason, and you are okay with that, then so be it. Unfortunately, over time you will feel worse about yourself because you cannot have him whenever you want. At that point, you have to decide if your happiness is more important than what you are being delivered. Best of luck ~

Men Only: Does anyone know of a blog or stie where i can rant about american women?

Im not looking for any lectures from american women—i don’t like em; what i want to know is if there are any websites or blogs out there where i can rant about why american women are horrible to date or marry, and reasonably expect to not get Booted? Yahoo seems to be very sensitive about this.
I asked this because ive had bad experiences with american women. I am from the US. I think foregn women are far surperior and want to rant about it and not get booted like on Yahoo.

I am looking for a sitcom that would have begun airing in the last few years or so. It featured an older women, divorced i think, (actress well known from an older sitcom) dating a younger man (at least when the series first started). I know it was NOT cougar town but can’t think of what the title was and i wanted to watch it. any ideas?

It was named Living with Fran. It use to air on the WB and starred Fran Drescher from the Nanny

Since i’ve dated a black guy I’ve dealt with more racism and crazy people than I ever have in my life.

On countless occasions I’ve had black females telling me I’m taking their men and then they go and tell my boyfriend that he can do better than a white B—-.

I’ve been attacked physically by a girl I didn’t even know for dating my boyfriend, I’ve been sent threats and completely disrespected by his mother.

Nobody has ever disrespected my boyfriend or has said anything ignorant or racist to him about “taking white women”.

What the hell is this? I’m laid back and I don’t start anything with anyone. Why am I constantly being attacked?

And please..I know not all black women are like this..i’m just asking about the females I’ve came into contact with.

I feel for you, I really do. I’ve been with my husband for 6 years(me white him black). I’ve been called an ignorant stupid white bitch more than a few times, by people who have never even bothered to have a conversation with me. My degree is in Finance by the way and I will be entering law school next year. On the other hand, many of his family members have embraced me and treat me no different. I do in a way understand where they are coming from though. I know I’m a loving, caring person, but if they aren’t in a place to see that, I don’t fault them at all. The reaction that some black women have over this issue is a microcosm of a much bigger issue in our society. My own father can still recall the black kids not being able to drink out of the same water fountain as him. Black people basically get treated like scum in our society on a regular basis as I’m sure you know…..by whom? By white America. Thousands of black men were lynched in the 20th century alone simply for having relationships with white women. The culture in which we come from has done such horrible and unimaginable things to their culture and livelyhoods that it is only reasonable for them to be upset. You never have and never will experience the kind of degredation and suppression they have been through. I sort of like to compare it to Hitler and the Nazi’s…. If my brother for instance started dating someone from Nazi Germany and it was 1940, and she said……..”don’t fault me cause I’m a Nazi, Im not like the rest” Do you think it would be OK not to trust her? I sure wouldn’t, and I’m German myself. In reality, there is prejudice on both sides. You may not hear it from the white community as much because it is no longer politically correct, but it is still there. My close friend, a white guy, even told me once that my hub was only dating me to get back at white guys for slavery. The whole race situation is ignorant all around, but I would rather fault the source than the product.
