It depends on the person. The majority of Somalis tend to be Muslim and family-oriented. About 99% of Somalis within Somalia are Muslim. About 90% of Somalis outside of Somalia are estimated to be Muslim. So if you’re Muslim and family-oriented you have a better chance. But some Somalis do tend to avoid intermarriage with people who are non-Somali and/or non-Muslim. Many wouldn’t even marry a Somali from another clan. You need to find an open-minded Somali girl. There is a couple I know where the wife is Somali and the husband is African-American and Muslim. They have the cutest daughter together. It can happen but focus on the girl’s personality, that’s how you can determine if she’s accepting and the right one for you.
