im talking about the girls who think too highly of themselves and can never come down to reality and thinks the world revolves around them. If she is always rocking a new Louis V purse with layers of make up stamped all over her face. Thick black eye liner or colored all the time, pretty much a girl who wants to be a barbie

most men appreciate a woman who takes care of herself. Good grooming ,nice nails ,nice hair. Some 0of the exensive clothes and stuff may scare a man off,because he thinks he can’t afford to keep her in the style she likes.

I used to have an application called “My Starbucks” where you list your favorite drink and can “send” other people drinks. A few months ago I got a notification that said “My Starbucks is now Speed Date.” It still has a picture of my Starbucks drink, so I don’t know what is going on there. I get notifications saying things like “You have new SpeedDate matches. Click here to fill out your profile and meet them.” and “SpeedDate update: Thousands of new people joined SpeedDate in the last few days. Click here to complete your profile and meet them.” So I am guessing it is a way to meet single people on Facebook. I think it’s just a forum for chatting.

Usually when I get a girls number they expect for me to call them, either that night or the next. Even if a girl didn’t expect me to call them I would call because it shows her that im INTERESTED and REALLY TRYNA GET TO KNO HER.

If you wanna call a boy then you can, thats your choice, but you shouldnt have to do that with every guy

Regarding txt as being a “move”
You could kinda say a txt is a first move. With this being a TEXTING AGE its probably acceptable. For some girls I txtd them before I called, but didnt hold a a whole conversation thru that. I save meaningful convos for on the phone.

Is it ethical and legal for a High School teacher to date an 18 year old former student?

One of my colleagues (a male), is dating a female students that was in his class last year. She graduated in June and is 18, yet I still think this is very unethical. He was teaching her and giving her grades 6 months ago! I also wonder if it is legal, since she is under 21, and he is 30. Opinions please.

You need to check your state.

Many are answering this with simple opinions. Teacher conduct is very specifically defined under state law. Many states have a “immoral or unprofessional conduct clause” in their education code. The State issuing board for the credential takes these cases very seriously. You or I do not decide, The local school district must convene a hearing to decide if this is against community standards. ( I know it wouldnt be acceptable in my community - think about who runs your school board)

Here is California’s Ed code on the subject:

44421. “The Commission for Teacher Preparation and Licensing shall privately admonish, publicly reprove, revoke or suspend for immoral or unprofessional conduct”
