20 questions dating
20 questions?

What are good first date questions?

What kind of music do you listen to?
What’s your favorite movie?
Hobbies?
What do you do for a living?
Where did you go to school?
Do you have siblings?

Just general questions. I wouldn’t ask anything too personal or specific. Especially anything about past relationships. That just opens the door to too much too fast. And makes you feel like you have to answer back, which could be negative in some cases, i.e., you could reveal that you cheated on an ex, or that you always are the one who does the breaking up!
Definitely things to insure that there won’t be a second date!

Online dating site advice??

I am new to online dating but am trying it out to meet someone after the end of a long relationship a few months ago. I have never done it before and was hoping to get a little advice, because it seems awkward to me. Do women that I meet on there expect flirting, or just regular conversation. It seems a little boring to talk about weather, jobs, etc, etc. Also how long to email or chat before meeting in person? Any other advice?
There are a couple girls I want to flirt with but don’t want to come off as creepy or pushy..
Also, any ideas as to how to flirt online?? :)

Hi! Online dating is a good idea. You find interesting persons there but you must also meet and learn to know in person before making any commitments.
If you are seriously looking for somebody, and want to be discrete, I can recommend you sites like www.makefriendsonline.com (the trial time is free. I found my wife from there). Then, plentyoffish is ok too, and free. Matchdoctor also.
About making friends onlin with somebody, I think you should act like in other ways too. Just like in real life. I mean, if you hope to have an open sincere discussion. Otherwise, the relationship won’t work.

How to start, it depends very much of a person. You should read the profile and then decide how to move on. Some are flattered about flirting, some want to move slower, as friends in the beginning and after some time together decide how to move on. I was succesful that way. But most of all, being discrete is important with a new friend, if you look for friendship (or more) for longer time.

When chatting with somebody, you should have something in common. You will find that out in correspondence or chat. If you don’t find anything interesting that you have in common, the chatting or correspondence will be about weather etc. Of course, the weather here plays a big role in everyday life, so it’s of course ok to mention it, but that shouldn’t be the main issue. Well, I don’t know if you are meteorologists (haha!).
But, to be serious, don’t waste your or your friend’s time on issues you both know it’s boring. That doesn’t lead into anything, you will get bored of the whole thing that way.

Then, about your own profile. Try to be interesting. Look for hints by reading other profiles of your own sex. A picture helps finding contacts. Or it’s required in your first, or at least the 2nd contact to your friends. You get much more replies to your messages if you have your picture. Either your public profile, or then attached in your first message at least.

Be natural! Be yourself in your profile, picture and your correspondence. Try to be interesting but don’t act any role. Then you can be sure that If (actually when) somebody is interested in you, the meeting in person won’t be a dissappointment.

I think online dating is just a great way to find people, maybe a bit outside the own corners. Much better than a pub, nightclub etc… And there is nothing to be ashamed in online dating.
Be active, contact people that you like. You will find out that most of them are not for you, but don’t give up. I also had several contacts that ended after couple of mails. But lucky me, I also found a relationship and a marriage that works so well I never even could imagine. I really can recommend the online dating as one great way to find a partner.

I wish you good luck !

How do i write and intresting on-line dating email???? :-)?

its in the question!

theres alot of nice ladies i like on match.com, but everytime i write an email, no one ever replies! :-( this is making me feel unhappy and unwanted!

does anyone have any god ideas on how i could make them more intresting and provoke a response? :-) p.s- ive tried every way to meet women in real life, bars clubs, parties, through friends and even ther gym and all and these haven’t worked!

don’t make any suggestions for me to ‘put my self out there’ or ‘get outta the house!!!’

i already know that! i want online dating answers! other answers will be flagged!

Maybe you shouldn’t focus so much on your profile and try to meet some individuals outside the website. But for your letter just make sure you don’t talk dirty because it’s the 1st email you’ve sent a person.

dating first email
What sort of things should I write in a first email on a dating site?

I normally write, hi I’m Michael, hows things?

but that’s not working and no one is repling.

I don’t want to write something like your hot or fancy meeting up in a first email.

I want to get to know the person better first.

Any ideas?

Write some things about yourself like “Hi, I’m John Doe and I like in Alabama. I came across your dating page and would like to get to know you better.” and stuff like that. Be forward but not too strong. Don’t immediatly say “you’re hot” or anything like that.

Australian Internet dating sites & Nigerian email scams for flights home?

I have come across two very attractive profiles of ladies apparently from Australia wanting assistance to arrive home from Nigeria. Are they all scams & how can you tell ? Ever heard of Linda Lopez or Vanessa Johnson ?

I would say so, if you want to make sure, there is a comprehensive database that will let you know for sure.

http://www.datingnmore.com/fraud/scam_database.htm

Also, the minute any person asks you for money (which they “need” in order to travel to visit you, its a dead give away. These punks have claimed to have illnesses, needed surgery, or been trying to escape from an abusive employer or ex-lover. By the way, chances are that you are talking to a 400 lb. black man in your chat-room or dating discussion board. But check out that site anyway. Unfortunately, I have had friends and co-workers who have been fleeced by these sorts of internet scams and have chosen to help others avoid such trouble.

The people responsible for the crap will bleed people of their money and if they travel to meet them, they will kidnap them (or attempt to) and if successful, hold you for ransom until your family runs out of money. In some extreme cases, people have been murdered after their family’s funds are exhausted.

Avoid at all costs buddy.

so are there any gay teen dating sites?

I’m tired of being single and I just recently moved to AZ from Georgia, does anybody know of one?

Gay teen forum.net There are others too. If you are searching for new friends try volunteering at some gay Charity or event. There you will get to meet other people and see how they think before you ask them out.
