Why is my laptop screen too dark to see suddenly?

It was working fine but then just went dark. I can vaguely see the desktop icons but it’s way too dark to do anything. I connected a monitor from an old computer for right now and the old monitor works fine. I tried to update the display drivers and it says they are up to date. I ran a pc diagnostic and it says the display passed. It’s a Toshiba Satellite Series.
I can see the desktop icons and various screens very faintly. I have temporarily connected a monitor from an old computer and the old monitor works fine. All the display settings are set the way I have always had them for screen brightness, etc. My battery is fully charged and it is plugged in.
could it be an inverter board?

Yes - it could be the inverter or possibly one of the lamps (the display is back-lit by usually 2 fluorescent tubes about 1/8 in diam).

I would go on that show just for the experience and it’s funny because a friend of mine tells me all the time that I need to fall in love with my eyes shut.
I rather know what I am getting but I admit I am a little superficial. If Matt can take the chubby girl I suppose I can also drop my standards a little. :p

I Know this deck is out dated but im broke so how do I improve my Dark Emperor SD?

yes I already bought 3 dark emperor sd to make one whoop a:ss deck but since 5d hit its like that deck doesn’t exist so I need to know how to update the dark emperor deck with a low low budget im only 15 got the money but wants to keep it low like is there any new starter deck or strutcher deck I can buy to help thanks

well if you have some cards up for trade, try goin to a hobby store any place that does yugioh tournaments, if you could find people who play the card game like me and a few others, try and find them, look around your local area for the places, all it takes is a bit of movin from one place to another, duelin a few with the deck you have, and if you could trade a few cards from your collection by all means do it.

if you wanna go a bit cheap, and i do too, try getting a few phatom darkness booster packs, granted it’s a little old, but does have that darkness feel attribute working around. if you’re gonna go remove from play, always link up any cards that work with remove from play and add them to the deck.

since i have a remove from play deck of my own,

Monsters: i’d suggest adding 3 dd warriors, 1 dd warrior lady, 3 survivors, 2 caius, 3 needle worms, and anything else working with remove from play, also get a gren maju de aiza in there for a otk.

spells: DD Reincarnation, Reinforcement of the army, anything that searches the deck and brings out a warrior, like D.D. Warrior lady, also get in some nobleman of crossouts. also get some D.D Fissure incase macro cosmos (trap) is nerfed on the field due to royal decree or jinzo

traps: Bottomless trapholes, compulsory, 3 macro cosmos, try getting a few dark bribes or solemns if you’re lucky

all it comes down to is how your budget could get you opportunites for your deck, if you could i’d suggest making a hybrid of synchros and remove from play, remove the synchro monsters like stardust, bring it back easily with Different Dimensional Master (monster) use it’s effect and discard a spell card and revive Stardust easily. again all it comes down to is how creative you can make your Deck a bit more “flairable and cool”

Big problem. I do not want to throw my pc away. The desk top can not be shown, it is dark. No icons?

I used “Driver Detective” to scan my pc. The scan results showed some drivers not up to date.I decided to update the video controller first and the problem started. The fonts and images became big. When I restarted the pc, it went through various color changes and finally black screen no desk top shown.What do I do?
To re-install too how do I do ?
