Diference in date of first car registration?

I have the following problem. I have bought a car from dealer. After checking all documents at home more thoroughly, I have noticed diference between date of first registration. In service history log book it is 22nd of March 2002. In Registration Certificate it is 27th of January 2003. It looks like a scam for me, because car is “younger” 1 year. Am I right? Thank you for your answers.

Sounds a bit fishy to me.

Normally you get the Service History book when you pick the car up from the dealer new. They write in (by hand) your name, and the date you took ownership of the car. Then the first service should be 6 mths after this date.

If the car registration document is dated a year later, then either the Sevice History book is fake (in which case the car doesn’t have the service history it says it does) or the Log Book is false in which case the car is stolen or a ringer.

I would check out all the other details of the car - Engine no., VIM no., etc that they match in both documents and also that they match the car itself. If in doubt get a professional to check it out - the AA offer a car checking service for about £25 (I might be out of date with that mind).

Also ring the DVLA and check that the car is registered to you. There might be another car out there registered on the same registration number.

If the car turns out to be stolen or ringed you can get your money back from the dealer. To be safe I’d do everything you can to check this one out as soon as possible, I think you have grounds to claim your money back as the car is not as described.

Also you could get advice from the Citizens Advice Bureau as to what to do next.

I can’t speak for ALL men, but I would have to say, “No. Kids are not too much baggage.” And if they DO think that kind of thing, then they are “not worthy” of your time and/or effort.
I’m only 39, but I have dated dozens of girls and *most* of them have kids. Personally, I liked most of them (the kids- lol). In fact, sometimes I would think of them as “little helpers”, in a non bias way. “Excuse me, but could you pass me that pencil”, or my favorite was, “Hey lil-guy, could you possibly grab me a soda out of the fridge?” lol (I don’t know why I threw that in there, but only that it could be considered “cute”)
The only problem with *MY* situation was that *NOW*, some of them I really miss. And I’ll just-bet that some of the kids might miss me, too. I would always play with them and MY favorite was building with Lego’s.
For you, I wouldn’t put it out there right off the top. Perhaps you could wait a date or two until you popped that one on the guy. See how he is in general and observe his actions & reactions to see if he would even be WORTHY to be around your child. This should be a motherly instinct thing that would happen automatically, but still… Maybe wait to drop that on them at first. Don’t have that be a “thing” just-yet and if the are NOT okay with it after you’ve hung out with them, then you know that it was best for the end result.

What does that person mean? Are all Turkish people are muslims? There is no such thing as “friend” between woman and man in Turkey or in Muslim at all?? If they are going together…Turkish people will consider “dating”? or what?…I believe in Jesus…If they know I’m not Muslim…are they going to be mean to me?

The majority of Turks are Muslim. Dating in the western sense is not allowed in Islam because premarital sex is prohibited, but many Turks are not too strict about it, so in fact you will be OK. They will not be mean to you no matter what your religion is. Turkey is a secular state and even has some unislamic laws. If your friend comes from a conservative family they wouldn’t want him to have premarital sex. I hope this helps. If you are going as just a friend not a girl friend then you have nothing to worry about.

The reason why I did this is because I don’t believe I was doing the exact speed the officer charged me with (68/45). My court date is in June 2007, my question is.
1. Do I have the right to ask the city in question, to see the police dash camera as of that incident?

very simple case. you get one item. either you are guilty or not, IF and only IF a radar gun was used. was it calibrated on scheduled. if yes you lose, if no you win. it is the only piece of evidence you need. just ask the prosecuter for it. if you are intent on going to court here is what you do. keep in mind that between the fine and increased insurance premiums this will cost you about 25 hundred bucks. FIRST, do not get an attorney. send a letter to the prosecuter stating you are defending yourself and you want information on the radar gun. By being informal you want to trick the prosecuter into not giving you discovery in a timely fashion. you want him to either give it to you the day of court or not at all. then at trial you argue no discovery and get it dismissed. you are maybe looking at an extra 200 bucks of court costs to save $2500. take a shot. not likely but if you lose you might get two days in the hooskow
