It is my understanding that a person’s chinese zodiac sign is based upon the day the new year began in the year they were born. e.g. a person may be born in Jan 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998 etc and they may not be born in the year of the tiger if they were born in early Jan (of one of the listed years) and the chinese new year began in February. Yeah the books and stuff tend to say people of the same sign won’t last but it’s not necessarily true. Astrologically speaking, there are more contributing factors besides the sun sign, there are moon signs and what house each planet was in on DOB etc etc. So just because you are the same sign doesn’t mean you will have all of those same characteristics. Logically speaking, there are more deciding factors than just your sign; personality, age, maturity.
I married someone of the same sign, both fiery Aries, and while we’re both stubborn and hot headed we learn to give in. His temper is cooler than mine, he is more outgoing than me. We have many similarities but not exactly the same. Everyone clashes time and again but compromising can make things work (if it’s worth it)
