What’s a ROMANTIC first dating anniversary gift for a guy?

My boyfriend and I are about to have our one-year dating anniversary, although it already feels like I’ve know him forever However, I can’t figure out what to give him that would be romantic! I’ve already given him poems, mix CDs, etc, but I want to go with something a little bigger for this occasion. Sure, I could get him a wallet or something…I was even considering an expensive panini maker. But I can give him those things for his birthday or Christmas; I want something that’s very personal and lets him know I love him a lot! Does anyone have any ideas?
By the way, we are both 21. And he hates wearing jewelry, so that’s out of the question.

What should I get my girlfriend for our first year dating anniversary

Well our anniversary is coming in a week and I am having a hard time trying to figure out what to get her… I mean she is one of those independent type of women who are picky and like bags and shoes.

We are planning to spend our one year together at hershey park and most likely stay overnight. Besides buying some lingerie and spending quality time together, I was thinking of getting a couple’s ring for us and put it on a nice card and give it to her at the hotel. What do you guys think? Anything else I can do to make it more romantic? Suggestions and comments?

I think the rings are a good idea. I would love it if my boyfriend did that. The only other thing that I think would be good would be a dozen red roses, that would be really sweet. ♥♥♥

Put them in a cute gift box. We got a really cute material one at Hallmark for 6 bucks. We got matching tissue paper. We folded a sheet in half longwise and put in the box so half stuckout. We put the cookies )that were decorated and let sit so the frosting has hardened )in the box. Then fold the tissue paper up over. This box had a material tie. It was so cute. We also used a decorating tip and wrote on a few of them.

You can make this very cheaply and easily. Buy the store brand sugar cookie dough already done, like 2.25 each. We bought 2. Make sure it gets really cold before rolling it out and use flour so it does not stick. Use a small heart cookie cutter. We bought the palm size ones and the cookies got huge in the oven so get the smaller one. You can put the cookies in a super cute gift bag from the dollar store and they sell tissue paper there too. Use vanilla frosting from the store. Just seperate it and add food color to make different colors.

I would make a big red heart in the middle leaving a 1.5 inch of cookie, outline it using white star decorating tip, not stars but a steady line. Make some roses on the inner left side of heart. Put brown around whatever cookie is showing to the edge in a swirl using the large star tip. Then using the writing tip write Sarah and Thomas 9-18-2006 (your anniversary date).
