I am always working so it is hard for me to meet people. I want to meet professionals in the city that are on the same level as me. I think I want to go to an dating agency but I am worried it may be expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good agency or a great place to meet singles?

You can put anything in the search bar and you will find many meeting spots in the city. I like to hang out at places for the over 30 crowd…don’t know your age but I find it to be a much more mature crowd and I prefer lounges over clubs. In my personal opinion, I would never hire someone to find me a date…first give it the “old college try” on your own. Even join some online groups at first, but not with the sole intent to hook up…just to get to know people and maybe there will be a meet and greet in the future. hope this helps

But try also to be a gentleman- open the doors for her, let her order first, etc. Guys ( in Ukraine) have pretty good manners,so ukrainian girls will expect that from you. Some americans are behaving like they own the world and it is ok for them to go whenever they want, but if somebody especially from eastern Europe comes to US- they assume that he/she is just trying to stay in US. A big misconception is that you find a girl’s picture and profile you like, you offer to marry her, get her a visa, and 3 months later she is in the USA with you. All ignorant misconceptions.

When you both pass, they forward the information to the US Embassy in Moscow, she gets medicals and examinations, and she applies for a visa to the USA.

If she gets her visa, she comes to the USA, and you have 90 days to marry and apply for her green card. The process of getting the green card takes roughly 8-12 months. When she gets it, it is “conditioned” on her staying married to you for 2 years. If she leaves you before the 2 years, she is immediately deported (even if she remarries another American - she has to re-apply with the new guy, from her home country).

A year after her conditional status is removed, she qualifies to apply for citizenship. The citizenship process currently is taking 24-36 months.

Figure that all-in-all, it costs about $10,000 to bring a woman to the USA to marry her.
