dating tips for men over 40

dating in late fortys is so confusing. Any tips?

I am getting such mixed messages and I just do not understand what is going on. Seems like the men and women have traded places. Any ideas how to handle dating after 40?

Look up Meetup.com. Look for subject that you are interested in or might be interested in exploring. It is FREE! They usually meet at locat resteruants, for dinner or coffee and coke. It is wonderful to meet people who are interested in the samethings you are. Good Luck. I hope there is lots of choices near you.
Also, there are two kinds of single people over the age of 40. Those who like being single and like to casual date with no strings and those who are looking for their next spouse. Don’t worry about it. You can enjoy them all. Date many men, keep it casual. Don’t give your heart away to the first or only guy who you date. You will be limiting yourself and WHY?
Date till you get to know them and their families before you comment. Watch for the crazy ex-wifes and the kids who still need weening.
Other places to check out, library, if you read and want somebody who does. Garden clubs, if you have a yard, lol.
Church socials and FREE concerts at the local colleges. You can get lots of information out of your local large newspaper, even the smaller ones. If you are interested in farming, check out the free or cheap classes the amish and other folks put on in the warmer seasons. The husband and I love going to them. This is the best time to date and find somebody special.
