There are more free dating sites than ever before, I personally found the free sites to be poor quality and not effective in helping me find a partner. They were too easy to join, they had no age or identity verification system in place, so they had lots of fake profiles and scammers loved it, any 9 year old would have no problem joining these sites.

So why would I join a major paid site? Personally the top major Australian dating sites are rsvp, adultmatchmaker, aussiematchmaker & match, on any of these sites I can find 100’s or more profiles just in my local area. They make serious attempts to keep out fakes & scammers, the sites are easy to use, members on these sites are more serious about dating, the sites have support, better chat rooms, better services… I don’t bother with free sites anymore, they just waste my time
