14 dating 16

Why is dating, at the age bracket of 14-16 years old, advisable?

You see, we have a debate in school, and the topic is that “It is alright to go out with someone, or have a boyfriend/girlfriend at the age of 14-16. I really have no experience yet with this kind of dating thingy, and I was assigned to take the government (or “yes”) side!

So please, please help me defend this topic, because I really, really need your advice. Please give as many reasons as you can why dating is, how should I say it (?), necessary or alright for young teens.

Hm, how about developing social skills, so that the kids are more prepared for more mature, loving relationships when they get older?
