Does the whole internet dating thing actually work?

I mean like has anyone actually found that someone special and if so, how does it work.
I’m not really into the dating sites.

Heh, I found my girlfriend on myspace actually. For a couple of days I messaged a couple of girls to see what was potentially out there and met my current gf. We have been going out for almost a year now and going strong.

I know it can work. It all just depends on the people in the relationship or on the site. Just like your probably not going to get the hottest girl (if your a guy) on the dating site that loves to pillow fight with other naked girls because 1)she just wants attention or 2)she’s fake.

If your looking at dating on sites, just be open minded and patient. I haven’t done an actual dating site myself, but I have looked just to see and notice that a lot of girls are too busy, intimidated, or go to the wrong places to go out to meet guys and vise versa. Or they are new to the area.

Send a few emails before you actually meet the person just to make sure he/she is in the ballpark of what your looking for then go from there.

Bottom line. If your asking if you should try it or not, I would say do it. I just checked eharmony and that’s like $50 or $60 a month. Wow. I might try other alternatives first, but it did seem like they asked a lot of questions to get a good match. It may be a little expensive but may be worth it. Or match.com or whatever site you choose to possibly use. Just keep in mind you may OR may not find what you are looking for.
