dating email sample

my boss email replies are dated 8 years old

im having problems because when he asked me when was his last email i dont know what to answer… my boss replied 3 hours after i emailed him but his email was dated 8 years way back…how can i document his mails if its dated 8 years ago…

I agree with the second answer. Yahoo puts the date and time on emails from their own computer converted to the time zone that you enter into your Yahoo ID. However, many email systems take the date on your own computer. In this case the date is 2000 because his computer date is wrong. And yes that email will be at the very bottom of your mail list instead of a the top.
