When I use Gumtree London Dating, why do I get no response?

I have posted adverts expressing my availablity on Gumtree Dating for ‘Guys seeking Girls’. I am a 38 year old male of Indian descent. Why is the response to my advert so low? Is it because most British women are racists who will not meet any males except those who are white? If this is not the reason, what is?

From a female point of view, I think I’d rather have men come to me rather than look at their profile and contact them. In fact, I’d expect it. Keep your profile up to date but contact the women you like and if they’re interested they’ll look at it. BTW good spelling and grammar is always a plus, you have that so it should help! Everyone likes a photo too.
