Why is it if a 20 yo female is dating a 50 yo man, he is considered a dirty old man?

But if a 20 yo old man dates a 50 yo female she is considered a cougar? Double standard?

It’s assumed that the 20 year old girl doesn’t know better, and had to be coaxed into it and convinced to do something she shouldn’t be doing.

Meanwhile the guy just wants to have sex, and if a 50 year old looks good enough to him then they just say “good for her”.

Definite double standard.
