How does the RUSSIAN culture view dating and sex compare to america?

I spent a couple of my summer vacations in the US and I’m from Russia. When I was visiting big cities the dating there seemed to be very easy, the girls looked easy. When I was in Mid-West everyone was incredibly conservative and I knew a lot of boys and girls who were virgins in their early twenties and wanted to wait until marriage before they have sex.

In Russia I don’t know anyone who wants to wait until marriage. I don’t know with what kind of girls (gold diggers?) gonna was sleeping, but none of my female friends is as easy as american girls in big cities. Russian women are as financially independent as men nowadays or at least my friends are.
